Terms and Conditions for UK Services

Customer reading UK service booking terms on a tablet These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which our UK services are provided to customers. By making a booking, confirming an appointment, or instructing us to carry out work, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before placing any order, as they explain how the service agreement works, what payments are required, how changes or cancellations are handled, and the limits of our responsibility.

In these service terms, references to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the service provider, and references to “you” and “your” mean the customer or client. These terms apply to the full range of services offered, whether booked online, by phone, by email, or by any other accepted method. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.

Service booking confirmation and payment details on screen Booking process begins when you submit a request, provide the required details, and receive confirmation from us. A booking is only accepted once we have reviewed the information provided and issued written or electronic confirmation. We may ask for further information before accepting a booking, including access details, service requirements, property conditions, or any relevant safety considerations. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information supplied is accurate and complete.

Where a service depends on site conditions, availability, or customer readiness, the booking may be provisional until we confirm the final arrangements. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a booking if we believe the work cannot be completed safely, lawfully, or within the scope originally discussed. Any quoted time slot is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise, and reasonable variations may occur due to operational demands, traffic, weather, or previous jobs running over schedule.

Payments and charges are due in accordance with the price, deposit, or invoice terms stated at the time of booking or confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in full by the due date shown on the invoice. We may require a deposit, advance payment, or card pre-authorisation before work starts, especially for larger, specialist, or time-sensitive services. Prices may be quoted inclusive or exclusive of VAT, depending on the circumstances and the information given at the time of quotation.

Cancellation and liability terms in a legal agreement If a quotation is based on incomplete information, unusual site conditions, or assumptions later found to be incorrect, we may revise the price to reflect the actual scope of work. Any additional work requested by you, or reasonably necessary to complete the service, will be charged separately unless included in the original agreement. You agree that overdue payments may be subject to reasonable administrative charges, interest, or recovery costs permitted by applicable law.

Cancellations and rescheduling must be made as soon as possible if you no longer require the service or need to change the appointment. We may apply a cancellation charge where a booking is cancelled after confirmation, particularly if time has been reserved, staff have been allocated, or materials have been ordered. The amount charged may depend on how much notice you give and the nature of the service booked. Where a service has already started, you may remain liable for work completed, materials used, and costs reasonably incurred up to the point of cancellation.

If you ask to reschedule, we will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative time, but we cannot guarantee immediate availability. Repeated changes may result in revised pricing or loss of priority booking. If we must cancel or rearrange a service due to illness, safety concerns, force majeure, equipment failure, access issues, or other unavoidable circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and offer a new appointment or refund any advance payment for the cancelled element, where appropriate.

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We will carry out the service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not accept responsibility for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, indirect losses, or business losses arising from delay, interruption, or the failure of third parties. Nothing in these service conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Waste collection compliance and duty of care documentation Where goods, materials, or equipment are supplied as part of the service, any manufacturer warranties or guarantees will apply in addition to your statutory rights where relevant. You must inspect the service outcome promptly and notify us of any issue within a reasonable period. We will not be liable for defects, damage, or delay caused by your instructions, misuse, lack of maintenance, failure to provide access, or failure to act on advice given. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any single claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a different limit is agreed in writing.

Waste regulations apply where our work involves removing, transporting, handling, or disposing of waste. You agree to provide accurate information about the type and origin of any waste items and to disclose whether materials may be hazardous, contaminated, electrical, bulky, or subject to special handling rules. We will only collect, move, or dispose of waste in accordance with applicable waste management laws, environmental requirements, and duty of care obligations. We may refuse to handle any waste that is unsafe, improperly described, or outside the scope of our service.

If waste transfer documentation, site segregation, or other compliance steps are required, you must cooperate fully and provide any information needed for lawful disposal. You are responsible for ensuring that items placed for collection are legally allowed to be removed and do not include prohibited substances unless specifically agreed and handled under the correct process. We may charge extra for additional disposal costs, specialist handling, contamination, or delays caused by inaccurate descriptions or failure to prepare waste correctly.

Final review of UK service terms and governing law Customer responsibilities include ensuring safe access to the property or site, obtaining any permissions needed, and making sure that the working area is ready for the service to take place. You must remove or secure valuables, fragile items, pets, and any obstacles that may affect the work. If we cannot complete the service because access is restricted, information is incorrect, or conditions are unsafe, we may charge for wasted attendance and any costs reasonably incurred.

You are responsible for checking that the service requested meets your needs and that any instructions you give are lawful and accurate. If you ask us to work in a manner that conflicts with legal requirements, industry rules, or safety standards, we may decline or stop the service. Where a service depends on your cooperation, delays caused by your failure to respond, provide access, or approve decisions may affect timing and may result in additional charges.

Intellectual property and materials remain owned by us or our licensors unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any documents, estimates, plans, or written content provided as part of the service must not be copied, shared, or used for a separate commercial purpose without permission. If we provide photographs, descriptions, or records relating to completed work, these may be used for internal administration, compliance, or proof of service, subject to applicable data protection rules.

Force majeure means events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, accidents, supply chain issues, government restrictions, or utility failures. If such an event prevents or delays performance, we will not be liable for the delay or failure to perform for as long as the event continues. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and resume services as soon as practicable. If the event continues for an extended period, either party may be entitled to cancel the affected booking without further liability, except for any amounts properly due for work already completed.

Complaints and disputes should be raised promptly so that we have a fair chance to review the matter. We may ask for photographs, written details, or access to the relevant site or item in order to investigate. If a remedy is appropriate, we may offer a re-service, correction, partial refund, or another reasonable solution depending on the circumstances. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer where the law applies.

These UK service terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in law, practice, or the services we offer. The version in force at the time of your booking will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law. Continued use of the service after any update will constitute acceptance of the revised terms where legally permitted.

Governing law and jurisdiction govern these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless another part of the UK law is expressly required by the nature of the transaction. The courts with appropriate jurisdiction will have authority to hear any unresolved dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply.

For business customers, additional contractual protections may apply only if expressly agreed in writing and signed or otherwise confirmed by both parties. No statement by any employee, contractor, or agent will vary these terms unless it is set out in a written agreement. If there is any conflict between a quotation, booking confirmation, or other service document and these Terms and Conditions, the order of precedence will be whichever document states otherwise, provided it is clear and agreed.

Entire agreement means these terms, together with the confirmed booking details and any written variations, represent the full agreement between the parties for the relevant service. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these service terms and conditions before proceeding with a booking. If you do not accept any part of these provisions, you should not confirm the service or permit the work to begin.
